Love It or Hate It? Stephenie Meyer's Floor-Length Floral Frock for 'The Host'
نوشته شده توسط : cheapweddingdresses

Still mourning the end of Twilight? Well, you're in luck: The Host opens next week, so you'll be getting your Stephenie Meyer supernatural romance fix again soon. Starring Saoirse Ronan and adapted and directed by Andrew Niccol, The Host sees the Twilight scribe ditching the vampires in favor of science fiction, although we can be sure that there will still be a healthy dose of forbidden love and whatnot along the way.

Speaking of Stephenie Meyer, let's take a moment to consider what she wore to the film's world premiere on Tuesday night, shall we? Amidst the sea of designer gear and short, sexy dresses, Stephenie opted for a long, flowing floral number with a black shrug, a string of black beads, and a pair of aqua heels that match the background color of the dress. She finished the look off with a subtle smoky eye and a bold red lip. What do you think, Bettys? Love it or hate it?

I've got to say that I don't really love it. To be fair, Stephenie has apparently been working really hard to get in shape, and she does in fact look fabulously healthy; but somehow I can't help but feel that this ensemble is more suited to, say, an afternoon garden party than a nighttime Hollywood premiere. There are ways to do floral for this type of event; Lucy Liu, for example, went for a full floral gown at the Golden Globes this year, and while we didn't love it, it was still appropriate for the event. Or maybe Stephenie should take a leaf out AJ Michalka's book: She went for floral too, but the dress was shorter, and its fit and flare fit made it the perfect party frock—totally premiere-worthy:

Maybe that's just me, though. What do you think? Love it or hate it? Tell us in the comments?

Oh, and by the way, if you happen to love Stephenie's or AJ's look, we've put together a couple of lookalike ensembles for you. Click through to the next page to see them!

EDIT: It's been pointed out that part of Stephenie's look probably has something to do with her Mormon faith. I totally get it -- I really do -- though I also still think that there are ways to dress up a look without making it super sexy or revealing (remember Natalie Portman's wedding dress?).Shop the latest Floral gown on the world's largest fashion site. Once the munchkin did start getting restless, we resorted to the next item in the desperate parent's playbook: bribery. Merely flashing a lollipop in her direction is usually enough to ensure a few minutes' compliance. In desperate circumstances you can deploy said lollipop to the toddler.Shop the latest collection of mandarin collar dress from the most popular stores . This requires careful management, however. First,Discover Rina di Montella with ASOS. consider the venue. Eating a lollipop in church might not get you sent straight to hell, but it's not encouraged either. Second, consider the potential for collateral damage. How likely is it that sticky lollipop hands, or even the lollipop itself, will come into contact with someone's exquisite new (and expensive) dress? And who do we know at the wedding that wears an exquisite new expensive dress, which is highly likely to be some variation on the colour white? Finally, consider your sugar ratios. How long do you want your child to sit still for? Now, how likely is it that they'll do so while hopped up on sugar? You want to be careful about how and when you relinquish the bribes.

After a successful ceremony it was off to the reception venue, a hotel up the road.distributing bridal gown wedding dress and wedding accessories to N. America, Europe and Asia. This involved piggy-backing a weary toddler up a hill, which was fine at the time, but boy did I feel it in my legs the next day! We had decided to make a decent night of it and had booked a room at the hotel where the reception was being held. This turned out to be a great decision, even if it did cost a small fortune. Can I trust buying a wedding dresses made in china wholesale online? It meant that we could stay later and when I finally took our daughter upstairs to bed, she crashed instantly, and gave us a reasonable sleep-in to boot.

One smart thing at the reception was having an extral room set up for the kids. It had a food table, with food put out earlier than the adult meals (including ice cream, to the munchkin's delight), and a TV playing DVDs. This meant that the kids could be as boisterous as they liked (including games of tag) without disrupting anything going on next door. There were slightly older kids there and they were great at looking after the younger ones. It also meant that the kids weren't weaving between tables in the dining room, or acting up due to hunger - as with most weddings I've been to, food ended up being delayed waiting for the wedding party to return from photos.
